ThunderBall Films is successfully putting together the movie production of Escape from Paradise and has received a new LOI (Letter of Intent) from actress Bai Ling who starred with Richard Gere in the film Red Cross.

This includes a commitment from a CPA firm who does tax credit financing in Ireland, a possible location to film, as part of the package needed for investors – along with the CPA firm’s commitment to apply for and finance the tax credits if ThunderBall does shoot in Ireland and what portion of the budget they would provide.

George Clooney, a Muslim?

George Clooney

Girgis al Clooney (Muslim name)

The lady that George Clooney  intends to marry, Amal Alamuddinan, an Arab from Lebanon, is of the Islamic Druze religion as are her parents. Although her name, “Amal,” is of ancient origin, it is one of the few unisex names in Arabic.

Amal’s sect, the Druze, are from a larger Muslim group, the Shia. As such, the Druze are in the same camp as President Bashir Al Assad of Syria, Iran, and Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

For any Muslim, including the Druze, it is forbidden for a woman to marry a man who is not of the Islamic faith.

Moreover, for the Druze, the groom must also be a Druze. Unfortunately, the Druze do not allow conversion to their religion.

Consequently, at the very minimum, to have a lawful marriage, George Clooney must convert to Islam even a non-Druze sect—most likely choice being the Shia.

Male Druze infants are usually circumcised shortly after birth. Consequently, Clooney’s conversion may also require a circumcision, which, for a man of Cloony’s age, could seriously curtail, or even end his sex life.

Naturally, this would not be publicized, and Clooney’s career could continue “as normal.”

Clooney’s new name in Arabic is Girgis al Clooney (coming to your local movie theater).

Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah the Druze God incarnate

Certainly, Clooney has taken all this into careful consideration.

Once converted, Clooney must appear in traditional garb when among his Druze community and in decent clothing when outside with freedom to wear what others wear.

In addition, as a Druze, Clooney should never fill his stomach when eating, or sleep all the night without praying.

Clooney must accept the Druze belief that Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah was God incarnate. (Bow down Girgis.)

So why doesn’t Clooney’s future wife simply convert to Christianity?

Wouldn’t that be simpler?

Probably not—it might be too risky as the penalty for leaving Islam is death.

It has been reported that Amal’s mother Baria Alamuddin is ‘unimpressed’ with George’s Hollywood pedigree, and would rather have her daughter marrying someone in their Druze Lebanese religious sect.

In fact, Baria has reached out to George and asked him to consider becoming Muslim and converting to Druze. Baria (بارعه) is an Arab name for women meaning, “one who escels.”

However, George Clooney is apparently not considering the option of converting to Islam. It is worth noting that in George and Amal’s recent trip to George’s fabulous villa in Lake Come, that George’s parents joined them, but Amal’s did not.

Out of desperation, in an op-ed in the Daily Mail, George has claimed that Amal’s mother is not a Druze—Clooney didn’t mention Amal’s father. If the father is a Druze it is virtually certain that the mother is as well—that’s how it goes in Islam.

Only Muslim men can marry Muslim women, while a Muslim man can marry any of what Islam calls “people of the book,” being Christians, Muslims, or even Jews.

Although a native-born U.S. Citizen, I have lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for nine years, speak Arabic, and know the facts of Islam.
