Doesn't matter Indian or not, it is "talents" that counts. And if these "talents" happened to be Indians, so be it.

There are quite a few in the Cabinet, eg Jayakumar, Shanmugam, Tharman and they even hold important portfolios like Finance, Law and Home Affairs. And Singapore's largest and govt linked bank DBS has recently also appointed an Indian as Chief. And the next Attorney General to be is also an Indian.

And of course Davinder Singh is also the lawyer of choice when libel lawsuits need to be filed against the opposition when PAP ministers are defamed.

Of course when a mistake is made in the appointment, just remove them, Indian or not, like in the case of Goodyear. No issue, even if the mistake is costly. Sometimes if there is no "suitable" replacement, the incumbent may even continue as long as needed. Again, no issue.

No issue because PAP can still remain in power despite mistakes. There are no serious challengers to them, at least for another 10 years.
